4/29 We arrive in Banff late in the day and leave the train for the last time to board tour bus for the trip to Lake Louise and the Fairmont Chalet Lake Louise where we will spend the night.

Some shots of the Fairmont - main entrance, kids check in at the concierge desk, the main lobby and the chandelier, the door to our room (despite this being a supper posh hotel, our room was the smallest we had the whole trip) The next day, we had the morning free, so I took a walk on the pathway that went along one side of the lake.

Looking at the mountains around the hotel, and back at the hotel from the path, gray moss growing on a dead pine and a squirrel out foraging for breakfast. The bus came for us about 1:00 and we were taken on a tour of Yoho National Park and also went back to the Spiral Tunnels, a Natural Bridge, Emerald Lake, and the town of Field.
